A Small Lemon-Yellow Butterfly, Still Breathing on my Walk

A lemon - yellow butterfly sitting on the finger of the hand

As I walked outside, I noticed an exhausted-looking lemon-yellow butterfly on the pavement. Thankfully, it hadn't been crushed by a shoe or run over by a bike. I gently picked it up and felt its velvety wings brush against my fingertips. It was still alive. I placed it carefully on a nearby red clover that was still in bloom. Then I quietly went on my way. I hope the butterfly flew away again and is doing well.

Pigeons Never Stop When You Want Them To

This is my quick drawing of the birds of the city.

Almost every day is hot and filled with sunshine, but at least the bright side is that there are more butterflies flutter with grace everywhere.

Whenever I notice them, I feel as if I’m collecting memories, a smile kept in my pocket to enjoy and cherish my thought later.
