Just a little thought about the world outside, where everything is calm and quiet: about colour, time and season.
I love taking a moment to reflect on the little things in life, especially during short walks while admiring nature. It's a really great way to appreciate my life and feel much more positive!
I was absolutely delighted to find roses on my way to our little town. Some had autumn fruits slowly turning red, while others were covered in burgundy flowers in full bloom. I know it might seem a bit strange that this is possible at this time of year, but I'm here to tell you that it is! There was a lovely ladybird sitting on one of the buds. She was trying her hardest to hold on to the flower as gently as possible while the wind tried to blow her away. And then, out of the blue, the sun appeared and this little bug was able to stay on the flower and carry on walking. At that moment, it took me back to a really special memory of us all sitting down together to paint, my youngest child and I. It was actually just some old canvas that was no longer needed, and the idea to repaint it in something new was just wonderful!
In the canvas, there's a whole world of tiny creatures living in the quiet corners.
Look closely and you'll see the little ladybird sitting in one corner and the blue butterfly hiding in the other.
The emotions captured in the canvas are as calm and quiet as my walk to the town and looking outside for colours, time and the season.
