A Voice Like Moonlight: The Little Girl Who Listened One Quiet Night
In the quiet hour of night,
a girl would wake
as if called by a whisper.
She reached for the radio, turning
the dial slowly,
until an angel’s voice found her.
Voice she loved in secret,
floating like moonlight through the dark.
Gentle as kissing pigeons, or
flying delicate feather,
and the child listened as if the sound
were meant only for her.
Calm, silent, invisible,
cheerful and kind,
a quiet choir of angels
singing where words could not reach.
She held the sound close,
afraid it might fade with the dawn.
She wanted to keep that ethereal
voice forever,
tucked safely inside her heart.
Orchestras bloomed softly around
her,
natural vocals woven with echoes of nature,
meditative melodies drifting like dreams.
Calming notes filled the air,
echoing like wind through the valleys.
The voice carried past time mystery—
songs that seemed shaped by forgotten hands,
by moonlit rituals and whispered.
It felt as if the music remembered things
the world had almost forgotten.
That voice lived deep within her heart,
gentle and unseen,
yet glowing like embers beneath ash.
Calming, silent, invisible, cheerful—
a quiet voice of angels
moving through mist and memory.
As she listened, time softened.
She heard forests breathing,
streams murmuring old secrets,
leaves sighing like pages of ancient stories.
She imagined all stitched together by sound.
Orchestras rose like distant hills,
natural vocals floated like fog over fields,
and meditative melodies moved slowly,
as if time itself had paused to listen.
The music carried the mystery of long ago,
a past that still whispered gently into now.
Piano shimmered like water beneath moonlight,
harp glowed like dew on moss,
cellos hummed with the voice of the earth,
and choral tones drifted skyward—
lyrical, ancient, mystical.
She held the sound close,
afraid the spell might dissolve with dawn.
She wanted to keep that ethereal voice forever,
safe inside her heart,
where past ages still breathed,
where mystery never faded,
where music remained eternal.
And
wrapped in music and love,
the little girl learned
that some voices do not disappear—
they stay,
becoming light within the heart.
And as sleep folded around her once more,
wrapped in nature, love, and old song,
the little girl drifted into dreams—
carrying within her
a timeless mystery,
forever singing.
