Enchanted into a Flower — A Fragment from the Dream Drawer

Surreal mixed-media artwork featuring a woman's face drawn in ballpoint pen inside a dried dark red rosebud. Botanical collage art with dried green leaves, creating a haunting, fairy-tale aesthetic.

She became a flower, but her face remained.

Enchanted into a flower, she lived beside the others in a garden of women who had become flowers. In the sunlight they danced, and beneath the rain they whispered.

Enchanted into a flower, she could live beside the others in the garden, where there was plenty of scent, shimmering and waving leaves.
She was one of the flowers in the large garden, where the other flowers had been enchanted into different kinds of flowers.
They all imitated the faces of women.
Some were younger, and some were older, if we can agree to place them in a frame of higher-level dignity or understanding.
On sunny days, they all danced and waved their petals and leaves in time to the rhythm of the sun.
They all smiled quietly and looked through the sun.
They were close, like a little family, with more girls, of course.
The sun went down, and it started to rain, but the girls were still, and they were not afraid of the million drops from heaven.
Then they started whispering and talking to each other, one by one.
They were surrounded by the rain and remained quiet.
The calming droplets purred between them, and all the leaves and petals were purified. The quiet noise of the rainwater showered them all.
Then she smiled as all the wet, muscat-scented flowers in the garden quietly looked at each other.
The rain did not stop, its serene sound like a gentle shower.
The smooth rain purified everything, including the petals and the girls.

Artwork note: Created with dried rose petals and leaves, with a woman’s face drawn in ballpoint pen.
