A Little Dream Kept for the Night

Pink sky with drifting clouds

Tonight I found a few quiet words waiting in the drawer.

They seem to belong to that soft place between evening and sleep, where the rooms grow distant and thoughts begin to float.

I don't know yet where this fragment is going.

For now, I am leaving it here, beneath the pink sky.

The Floating Dream Drawer poem

The surreal upward drift into the pink sky

The whispering softness, and the misty calm

Warm dreams, you’ve kept them safe,

The thoughts you tucked away,

Quiet dreams rise softly

 They drift upward and glow

In the evening mist they blow.

You feel like a drifting threshold

Between wake and dream.

Soft, delicate and slow peace.

There are floating minds and hearts,

Whispers and quiet melodies hummed

Between avenues of different  rooms.

The surreal upward drift into the pink sky

The whispering softness, and the misty calm

Warm dreams, you’ve kept them safe,

The thoughts you tucked away
