Enchanted into a Flower — A Fragment from the Dream Drawer

Surreal mixed-media artwork featuring a woman's face drawn in ballpoint pen inside a dried dark red rosebud. Botanical collage art with dried green leaves, creating a haunting, fairy-tale aesthetic.

She became a flower, but her face remained.

Enchanted into a flower, she lived beside the others in a garden of women who had become flowers. In the sunlight they danced, and beneath the rain they whispered.

Hidden Shire of Pailanor

A small fragment from the drawers of Art in Cupboard: a miniature shire of moss-covered hills, ancient laws, and incredible creatures hidden inside a wooden case.

She had such a lovely time travelling the world, searching for magical moments in nature and capturing them in photographs.

She kept everything in a roomy wooden case made for incredible creatures.

She wanted to write about them and create a little guide to help people understand why she wished to keep them inside.

One day, she opened the wooden case, and there it was, right in front of her: the small, almost invisible, yet very real Hidden Shire of Pailanor.

Beyond the western hills stood a little green country of seven hearths, where no crown had ever been accepted and the oldest laws were kept beneath the roots of ash trees.

She could see the Shire nestled among hills covered with old moss and thistles. The view was stunning—fascinating and almost breathtaking.

The miniature world did not exist in reality, but in her mind, almost anything was possible.

It was a world only she could see, imagine, and hold in her hands.

This fragment came from one of the hidden rooms of The Cupboard, where stories and unfinished worlds wait quietly to be found.
